Carder Steuben art glass pendants
The pendants are made from shards of Carder Steuben art glass produced between 1903 and 1933 by the Steuben Glass Works of Corning New York under the direction of Fredrick Carder. Carder had experience in developing formulae for colored art glass. He designed thousands of designs in dozens of colors and finishes using glass made from his own formulas which later included the super clear leaded glass developed for Corning Glass Works. Some of the curvature and texture of the original piecemeal be seen in each piece. This item is not made by Design 645.
